The origins of Jägermeister can be traced back over 80 years to the small town of Wolfenbüttel, Germany. Since production began here, ginger root has been a key ingredient in our complex blend of 56 herbs and spices. Which is, of course, why Jägermeister goes so naturally with ginger beer - especially served with ice, lime and cucumber. We call it a Root56. A celebration of our deepest bonds, and a worthy accompaniment to yours.
With its unmistakable flavor and warming character, Jägermeister is one of the world’s best-loved drinks, bringing people together wherever it is enjoyed.

SKATE AT SOMERSET HOUSE
As winter has rolled around once more and an icy sheet covers the floors of London (well, the floors of pop-up ice rinks anyway!) we’ve lent a hand to one of the season’s most popular attractions in the capital - Skate at Somerset House.
The traditional rink has once more surfaced in the grounds of the historic building to give everyone from keen skaters to nervous folk who’ll be clinging to the edge for dear life a chance to get on the ice. Whether you’re able to do a pirouette or not doesn’t matter to us as we’ll be on hand the moment you step off the ice with a range of Jäger Cocktails available at the Skate Lounge.
If you’re needing something to warm you up post-skate then try our delicious twists on familiar favourites with the Jägermeister Mulled Wine or the Jäger Spicy Hot Chocolate. If you’re looking for something a little fruitier our new Hunter’s Tea and Christmas Spritz cocktails should do the trick, or you could even enjoy the more familiar Jäger serves of a Root56 and Black Spice. Oh, and of course you’ll be able to enjoy a classic Ice Cold Shot.
It’s not just the ice and the ice cold Jäger that this year’s event has to offer - they’ve also got a whole host of club nights featuring the likes of Ministry of Sound, The Reflex, Dimensions Festival, Goldierocks and more soundtracking your evening. You can choose to either be skating along in time with the beats or just letting them grace your ears as you sink into one of the comfy seats in the Skate Lounge.
As an end-of-season finale, Somerset House will be holding two very special closing weekend Club Nights on 12th and 13th January, details of which will be announced soon so keep your eyes peeled!
So what are you waiting for? Lace up your skates, get out on the ice and round the evening off by treating yourself to something deliciously Jäger. It’s the best way to spend a cold winter evening so make sure you get down to Somerset House before 15th January or you’ll have to wait until next year!
